Rudi Buchannan Strewe 'Zeppelin'
320 x 170
Rudi sees himself more as traditional artisan, where the process of using fire turns molten metal into sculptural forms using techniques that have been around for 1000’s of years; skill and technique count. Rudi thinks this is important and more pleasing for people to look at and handle than conceptual art. He first started by teaching himself black smithing and metal forging and then bronze casting using the lost wax process. Rudi works from his studio in Karekare, Auckland
