MATARIKI 2022 - AWAKENING

"Look - A New Day Has Begun" is the final line in the song "MEMORY" in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "CATS".

This line has always resonated with me, the promise of a New Day, no matter what has passed during the present day.

My work "HOPE" speaks of the promise of the new day emerging from the night.

Just as the old year/season passes and the New Year/season begins - Matariki, in New Zealand, the Winter Solstice in the Southern hemisphere, and the Summer solstice/New Year which is taking place in different countries, cultures and creeds all around the world.

A world Awakening to a beautiful New Earth, and the promise of the Universe of which we are part.

The Seven Doves represent the Seven Sisters - the Oracles, which is the Pleiades Constellation, in Taurus. The Oracles who give hope to humankind, through their prophecies.

The Dove is also a Universal symbol of Peace and Hope, my wish for our little planet Earth.
